Sometimes it's hard to find the ice cream flavor you're craving, but this place has so many you'd be hard pressed not to find at least 10 or more that you're dying to try. What sets this apart for me though is the variety of different cones it has to offer. All different colors and flavors of not just waffle cones but cookie cones as well, which adds layers of flavor and fun to the already awesome ice cream experience. Despite a small line the service was very quick and like most ice cream shops this one offers free samples to try the ice cream flavor you want before you fully commit to a cone, which is really important given all the amazing flavors they have to offer. Can't wait to try em all!
Who doesn't love a local ice cream shop with boundless goodies to choose from?! There's a reason this place is so dang popular and we're glad the friends we were visiting took us here. The ice cream is ridiculously tasty and we even snagged some yummy chocolates for later. You can't go wrong! It's definitely busy especially in the summer so prepare to wait, but the staff was quick and efficient.
I get the same shake everywhere I go (coffee shake!) and this is by far the best one. It does get busy (avoid Friday afternoons when the school kids pile into town!) but they usually have plenty of staff serving. Love the different options available and the decor. It's a great asset in our town.

Below are my tips ... - hot cocoa ice cream - so chocolatey, amazing - so many fun specialty cones! - extensive milkshake/drink options - sugar free chocolates at the counter, got these when I was doing keto - what magic is this??? - fun for groups!
I'm just going to say it ... if you don't love this place you are fundamentally broken as a human being! The ice cream is homemade awesomeness, the candy much made on site is crazy good as well even some sugar free options. If you have not gotten an Easter Bunny from them our watched them make them on site you are missing out! Also make sure to go downstairs as they have a very cool area for hard to find candy and candy by weight. Do yourself a favor and check them gem out!
Their chocolates are delicious. I wish to go there one day. I usually get a box of dark chocolate from relatives over the holidays. You never know what you'll get :). There are so many different fillings. We love them. One day, we will take a trip to CT to visit.
This is the finest, most delicious, happiest place in the area. Since moving into their brand new, spacious building, this place has only gotten better. Friendly service is staffed mostly by local teens. The homemade chocolate is second to none and the ice cream is fantastic! You can also buy candy like M&Ms in bulk with your combination of colors or even old-fashioned candy that is difficult to find. Word is getting around - lots of non-Connecticut plates in the lot out back - good to see someplace local getting such great recognition!
Totally deserves all these great reviews. They moved locations into this huge space with chocolate and homemade ice cream upstairs and candy downstairs. Their homemade ice cream is the star of the show, like what you'd get in Wisconsin. Old fashioned, dairy, creamy, fresh, goodness. Their chocolate is also very good, not top-notch but close! The dark chocolate rice crispy bar was my favorite for sure, would buy a bunch of these. 5 stars!!!!
